A headless RO/EN architecture separating the storefront, commerce operations, editorial content and controlled migration from WordPress/WooCommerce.

01 / Context

The business and the challenge

Chic Roumaine is a fashion brand with products and editorial stories, a bilingual catalogue and commerce requirements beyond a standard presentation website.

The migration must preserve useful public content and assets, separate private commercial data and allow the storefront, backend and editorial studio to evolve independently.

02 / Role and approach

Target architecture, monorepo organisation, Next.js storefront, Medusa backend, Sanity Studio, migration workflows and release quality gates.

We separated responsibilities into dedicated applications, kept the legacy archive outside the public artefact and built checks for catalogue data, translations, checkout and controlled release promotion.

The project demonstrates the Commerce/Custom category and the discipline required for a headless migration. We do not publish commercial results here or present the implementation as the €499 Business product.
